Prayers in Islam

Hide your pain from people and pour it out to Allah. You are tested because Allah wants you closer to Him. He loves you more when you rely on Him and and seek His help. Don’t you know that Allah responds the du’a of the desperate one who calls to Him?
Allah says,

Is  He  [not  best]  who  responds  to  the  desperate  one  when  he  calls  upon  Him  and removes  evil  and  makes  you  inher itors  of  the  earth?  Is  there  a  deity  with Allah ?  Little do  you  remember.” [27:62]

One  of our noticeable weaknesses is our tendency to constantly complain and whine to people. We walk around telling others our problems and finding comfort in it only to end up receiving pity as charity This shows our lack of faith and tawakul in Allah. In the Qur’an all informs of the difficulties His Prophets faced and the examples of patience and reliance in Allah. At times, their problems seemed insurmountable but it did not stop them from asking relief from Allah! They faced betrayal, murder, banishment, mockery, sickness, and endless other calamities; yet, they found comfort and patience with Allah.  Look at when Prophet Ya’qoub (‘alayhi asalam) faced his deepest calamity of having lost his son…what did he do? Did he throw a tantrum, whine, or tell everyone about it? No, but he said: “I only complain of my suffering and my grief to Allah”.

“Those will be rewarded with the highest place (in Paradise) because of their patience. Therein they shall be met with greetings and the word of peace and respect.”

[Quran 25:75] may ALLAH increase us in patience !!aameeen

2:44

Do you order righteousness of the people and forget yourselves while you recite the Scripture? Then will you not reason?

2:85
Sahih International

Then, you are those [same ones who are] killing one another and evicting a party of your people from their homes, cooperating against them in sin and aggression. And if they come to you as captives, you ransom them, although their eviction was forbidden to you. So do you believe in part of the Scripture and disbelieve in part? Then what is the recompense for those who do that among you except disgrace in worldly life; and on the Day of Resurrection they will be sent back to the severest of punishment. And Allah is not unaware of what you do.
